Speculative metaphysics in his practice focuses primarily on philosophical applications of formalisms derived from contemporary physics.
The result is uchronian works that function as operational hybridizations at the boundary between familiarity and strangeness.
“The starting point of my work arose from an observation: our present reveals an unprecedented distribution of reality, where everything that appears does not necessarily exist, and everything that exists does not necessarily appear.
Contemporary physics describes a universe permeated by uncertainty and probabilities; cognitive sciences describe an opaque subjectivity structured by unconscious processes; and computational technologies introduce a new regime where information is no longer merely what represents the world but what participates in its organization.
It is from this point that I came to consider matter, psyche, and information as resonating through structural homology and organizable through a regime of appearance. What interests me is understanding what resists between them, without reducing one to the other.
Limbence is an attempt to make this intuition tangible.”
